Used in Lemon Lavender Tart
Yes, I am having dessert for breakfast. We live in uncertain times!
I made this yesterday and finished assembling it last night while waiting for various stages of the disastrous chicken asparagus slop to finish. The shell is awesome! The filling is pretty good, too. I love the smell of lavender – it’s so clean and refreshing. However, in my mind, lavender=spa, so every bite triggers a little spot in my brain that says “you’re eating bubble bath” no matter how good it tastes.
The texture, however, is divine. Maybe by the end of the weekend (and the last crumb of the tart) I will have overcome the soap connection and associate lavender with yum.
