The onion rings were very tasty. Me and the oil temp were struggling for a bit, but when done and dipped in the ranch, which is soooooo gooooood, I could make a meal of them.
Okay, the concept of the brick panini had me shaking my head but IT WORKS! Found the one and only brick in our stack that doesn’t have the mortar holes, scrubbed it, wrapped it in foil, and said a quick prayer to not totally flatten the poor sammich when I put it on.
Mark Wilson and I disagreed on which one was better: I love the roasted red pepper and he loves the tomato and fresh mozzarella. Secret on this one is to believe her on the low temp. Yeah, my first one went into the trash but after that I backed it down a bit and turned out 4 really good paninis!
This is definitely one I will bring out the next time one of the vegetable loving kids visits.
