Bias alert – you could not get below a 4.5 on this one with me because this is my absolute favorite flavor combo on … the … planet.

That said, 1/4 cup olive oil is a bit much. The dough is, as always, awesome and has some really nice crispy spots. I always dip the “love you crust” in balsamic vinegar and oil or balsamic glaze. Since this has plenty of oil already you only need the balsamic.

The “love you crust” is what my college roommate called the pizza crust at the outer edge that is all bread. King Pizza in Fayetteville had a HUGE outer crust ring. So we would eat to the outer edge and toss the bread back into the box. Only someone who really loved you would eat that leftover crust, so she always called it “love you crust”.

Sorry, Mark, I love you but I ate the crust myself.
