Used in Chicken and Dumplings
There are few things as comforting as chicken and dumplings on a day that started out at 19 degrees and by lunch is only flirting with 32. I put the broth on between meetings this morning and made the rest on my lunch break on a work-from-home day. That’s how simple both of these recipes are.
I used canned biscuits, which the recipe allows, but next time I am going to use JoJo’s biscuits. I just didn’t have the time today and I know how good they would be in this.
One more thought – I used more salt in the final product, and the broth could have used more as well. She gives you a recipe that will allow everyone to adjust the salt and pepper in their bowl, which is good for when you have your salt-conscience friends and family over.
