I love a good French Onion soup, especially in cold weather, but I will eat a bowl any day, any temp if it is well made. The flavor of this one is really good but… the thyme sprigs need to be taken out. The directions have you pull the bay leaves out but not the thyme sprigs. You can see the sprig swimming around in the pic below. Pull out the thyme or de-stem it before it goes into the pot and it’s a 4.8 soup.
