Used on the BLTs
O.M.G. If you thought BLTs could not get any better, you were wrong. New weekend game plan: make extra bacon for breakfast and use it in sandwiches at lunch. Because who doesn’t love having bacon twice in one day?!
The mayo is the kicker here. It is herby and tangy and delicious. You may notice I use dried herbs instead of fresh. The reality is that fresh herbs are expensive and I don’t use them up before they get bad AND not every store carries fresh dill. I used the 1TBS fresh = 1 tsp dried rule of thumb and love the result. I wish more cookbooks would include “reality-based” ingredient alternatives.
