Wow. I have a sink FULL of dishes, it took 2 hours to make, and THIS is the result?! Come on!
First off, you have to cut it with a steak knife even after you get it on your plate because of the asparagus spears. Then the asparagus pears cause the thing to disintegrate as you try to cut it. It is a sloppy, ugly mess on the plate, and the flavor? Meh.
I am leaving the kitchen a disaster area until tomorrow when I have the energy to deal with the dishes … and the disappointment.
